Working on a project
Trigger samples can be a great compromise when it comes to quick and easy drums, but can also make your music sound akward and unnatural when done incorrectly.
Drums are a way of life at Blue House. We have nothing but the best. With our top quality Drum and Cymbal collection to choose from, captured by the best mics ran into up to 16 channels of dedicated outboard mic pre-amps we want you to get the biggest, realist and highest quality sounds for your percussion needs.

1950's Rudolph Wurlitzer Upright Piano
From Jazz to Blues , this piano has a lot of soul.
The keys have a nice medium response with an attack on the brighter side. We like to stereo mic it up with our pair of Royer R-121 Ribbon mics. For more room we will grab our stereo pair of C12 clones. It's serviced / tuned every year.
65 years plus has aged a lot of character into this beauty.
We consider this the heart of Blue House.
At Blue House we take pride in the guitar tones we craft using our American Made Guitars coupled with our many vintage and modern tube amps. This is usually finished off by running into Abby Road's Own Chandler TG2 mic pre channels.
We have a snare drum for every occasion!
Studio engineer Bahrum Moghadam is obsessed with drum tones. The snares at blue house will open your eyes to what has been at the tip of your imagination. Ludwig, Craviotto, Tama and Pork Pie all seen here.
BLUE Bottle Microphone
This large diaphragm tube microphone has 8 interchangeable capsules. It's not only BLUE's flagship mic but the center piece here at Blue House. Leaving no compromise in our vocal chain, we like to pair this mic up with the legendary Martech Mss-10 Mic Pre. (Nevermind the foam… It’s just a closet)
From lush to punchy, come find the capsule right for you!
